WE ARE THREAD

Eddy - Bass, Vocals
Mary Ann - Vocals, Drums
Greg - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Kevin - Keyboards, Sax

Based in Ottawa, Canada, Thread began as a trio with Mary Ann Allossery on drums and main vox, her husband Greg Lipin on bass, and Josh Drake on guitar.  What began as a Thursday night jam with good friends slowly evolved into a name, Three Pants Red, a set list, and desire to play a live show. Along the way they added a fourth player, changed their name, kept writing songs, and in November of 2011, In My Dreams was released.

It took a few tries and a few years but Thread’s current line up is the dream team. Mary Ann is still singing and rockin’ out on the drums, but  Greg has moved off the bass to become Thread’s lead guitarist. With Eddy Benavidez taking his place and Kevin Mchale bringing keyboards and sax, Thread is in the best shape of its life.
